Et il fit à Jérusalem des machines de l'invention d'un ingénieur, afin qu'elles fussent sur les tours, et sur les coins, pour jeter des flèches, et de grosses pierres. Ainsi sa réputation alla fort loin; car il fut extrêmement aidé jusqu'à ce qu'il fût devenu fort puissant.
